Kromeriz buses on Holiday
The town of Kromeriz is the home to a very nice Chateau and even more amazing gardens. http://www.cs-center.org/kromeriz Tuesday was a National Holiday so no classes, therefore a group of about 16 of us went to Kromeriz. We took a bus for $2 one way and then $2 for a tour of the chateau and the gardens were free. We all meet up at the bus stop around five to find a very packed bus, meaning we would stand the hour and a half ride back to Brno. Cass, Kelsey and myself thought we would be adventurous since we are only in Europe for a short time and stay to see more of the town. We went back and saw some insane chickens with feathers that looked like fur coats, a cage full of birds and two cats (still can not figure that one out) and a very hyperactive monkey. Next we got some dinner and then headed off to catch the next bus. . . Turns out that on Holidays the buses do not run as late nor as often. So after Smsing (text messaging in Europe) Joerg to have him look up bus times online we come to realize that the next bus does not leave until 4:25 am. It was about 8 or 9:00 at this time so after thinking about sleeping in a park or in the train station we did the safe, smart, girlie thing to do. . . Got a hotel room. So atleast we had some fun and did something different than planned. Arrived in Brno at 6:00 am which gave me just enough time for a nap before my 1:00 class. Europe is too much fun
