Searching for a German Virgin?

Ok so here is a nifty little tradition that still exist in a small village in Germany where my friend Thomas resides.

By your 30th birthday if you are not married you must go to the town hall. Once you arrive at the town hall you must sweep the front steeps until a virgin comes and kisses you. So the reason this story came about was because Thomas' brother just turned 30 and is not married. Therefore he had the honor of sweeping the steps for four hours until they could track down a virgin. Thomas says that they live in a small village but it is hard to find virigns. They finally found a little 12 year old girl to come kiss his brother.

Now how about that for a tradition?
